MOUND CITY COUNCIL MINUTES
MARCH 15, 2005
The City Council of the City of Mound, Hennepin County, Minnesota, met in special
session on Tuesday, March 15, 2005, at 6:00 p.m. in the Mound Public Safety Facility.
Members Present: Mayor Pat Meisel; Councilmembers Bob Brown, Mike Specht, John
Beise, and David Osmek.
Others Present: City Manager Kandis Hanson, City Clerk Bonnie Ritter, Community
Development Director Sarah Smith, Public Works Director Carlton Moore, Public Works
Superintendent Greg Skinner, Parks Director Jim Fackler, Police Chief Jim Kurtz, Fire
Chief Greg Pederson, Liquor Store Manager John Colotti, Finance Director Gino
Businaro, John McKinley
1. Open Meeting
Mayor Meisel called the meeting to order at 6:0 p.m.
2. Staff Presentation Establishin4 Roles in Emergency Events
Fire Chief Pederson, Police Chief Kurtz, and Lieutenant McKinley headed the
presentation. A plane crash scenario was given and staff, along with the Council,
reviewed their roles and actions during this emergency.
3. Adiourn
The meeting adjourned at 8:00 p.m.
