by 2022, freeing up funds for other priorities/tax relief
2. Refinanced bonds resulting in over $2.4M in interest savings
3. Partnering with Aeon to revitalize Indian Knoll Manor and
ensure affordability for the long-term
4. Municipal liquor store contributions to General Fund
reduces need for levy increases

The Mayor and City Council have a very important decision to
make regarding hiring a new City Manager. One of the main
purposes for this Town Hall Meeting is to hear resident, business, j
and other key stakeholder concerns and questions regarding this
decision.

- Area Fire Services Highlights
1. Implemented Box Alarms to increase efficiency and coordination with
with neighboring departments
2. Implemented Duty Officer Program to improve efficiency and day time
response times
3. Implemented pension plan changes to help retain experienced fire fighters
4. Upgraded apparatus and equipment for safety, efficiency and cost control
5. Maintained or improved ISO Ratings in 2009 & 2014 resulting in better
safety and reduced homeowners insurance rates!
