A concurrent Special Meeting Workshop of the Mound City Council and Mound Planning Commission has been scheduled bythe City Council and Planning Commission to be held on Tuesday, February 18, 2020 at 7:00 p.m. Both the Mound City Council and Mound Planning Commission are required to open and adjourn the meetings and a quorum of each body must be present. Approved 2019 Planning Commission Work Plan and Staff Project List The City Council, at its May 14, 2019 meeting, approved the 2019 Planning Commission Work Plan List and Staff Project List as follows 2019 Planning Commission Work Plan 1. Implementation activities related to the adoption of the 2040 Comprehensive Plan, such as rezoning and amendments to the zoning ordinance 2. Development of procedures,tools, code amendments, and enforcement mechanisms to address building and property maintenance, exterior storage, and nuisances 3. Long-term home rental study 2019 Staff Project List 1. Electronic building permitting implementation with MnSpect 2. Development of a policy regarding the evaluation and process for the release/sale of Cityownedproperty 3. Pawn shop/massage regulations studies 4. Massage license regulation study Overview of 2019 Planning Commission Work Plan and Staff Project List. 2019 Planning Commission Work Plan 1. Formal review of 2040 Shorewood Comprehensive Plan (March 2019) 2. Review of exterior storage/nuisance/parking regulations for possible amendments (Review completed July 2019 and ordinances amending City Code Chapters 129, 42 and 46 approved January 2020) 3. Purchase of tax forfeit parcel (PID No. 24-117-24-44-0128) and comprehensive plan consistency determination (September 2019) 4. Preliminary plat and vacations for Mound Harbor to replat parcels in downtown (October/November 2019) 2019 Staff Projects List 1.
